Postdoc Fellows

Dr. Puranam is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Symbiosis Centre for Medical Image Analysis (SCMIA), Symbiosis International University, Pune, India. He received his PhD degree from ICFAI University, Hyderabad, India, Master of Technology from AMRITA University, Coimbatore, India, and Bachelor of Technology from GITAM University, Hyderabad, India. He is also an active Member of the IEEE Computer Society. His research interest includes Image processing, Neuroimaging, Parallel Computing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Following which he worked on brain tissue segmentation, white matter hyperintensities, brain fiber tractography, and retinal blood vessel segmentation. He also the reviewer of Artificial Intelligence Review, Intelligence Medicine, Journal of Super Computing, and EAI Transactions on Intelligent System and Machine Learning.
