Dr. Mohit Kumar

Dr. Mohit Kumar has been working as a post-doctoral fellow (Research Associate-II) under the SERB-CRG government grant at the Symbiosis Centre for Medical Image Analysis (SCMIA), Pune, since December 2024. He completed his Ph.D in Biomedical Image Processing at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj, in December 2024. His doctoral research focused on addressing the limitations of automatic diagnostic biomarker detection. He proposed a simple automatic denoising architecture and a classification algorithm for analyzing limited datasets of fatty liver and carotid plaque ultrasound images.

After his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from BBSCET, Prayagraj, in 2011, Dr. Mohit worked as a software developer at BSN Infotech Pvt. Ltd. He then pursued higher education, completing his M.Tech. from 2013 to 2015. During these periods, he published several articles in Science Citation Index (SCI) international journals and conferences. Before starting his Ph.D., Dr. Mohit gained four years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at KIT, Varanasi.
